Welcome to EVity. We are committed to protecting your personal data and privacy. By using our application, you agree to the following terms regarding data collection, privacy, and terms of service in compliance with Google Play Store and Apple App Store guidelines.
To register an account and secure your charging balance, we collect and store your full name, email address, and phone number. Additionally, we collect device identifiers (such as your unique hardware ID, custom device keys, and Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens) to prevent multi-device login fraud and ensure account security.
EVity requires access to your device's Precise Location Services (GPS). This data is used solely in the foreground while using the app to identify the nearest charging stations on the interactive map, show distances, and guide you to charging hubs accurately. We do not track or store your location history in the background.
To provide core security and operational functionality, EVity requests permission to send you system-level Notifications. These notifications are used to deliver:
• Secure verification codes (OTP) to register or authenticate your account.
• Real-time charging telemetry updates (session started, completed, and energy consumed).
• Instant wallet top-up and balance addition receipts.
You can manage or disable notification permissions at any time via your device's operating system settings.
We utilize trusted third-party SDKs and service providers to ensure secure processing and map visualization:
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): To safely manage, secure, and deliver transactional and OTP push notifications.
• Google Maps API: To visualize charging station hubs, maps, and calculate distance routing.
• Paymera Gateway: To handle secure mobile wallet top-ups. We do not store or process your credit card numbers on our servers.
In compliance with Apple and Google user safety guidelines, you have the absolute right to permanently delete your account. You can easily initiate this self-serve deletion directly inside the app under your Account/Profile Settings, or request deletion by contacting us at support@evityapp.com. Upon account deletion, all personal records, wallet balances, notification logs, and transaction histories are permanently erased from our active database.
Our services are not intended for or targeted at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If we discover we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete that data immediately from our systems.
EVity charging sessions are billed in real-time based on the actual kilowatt-hours (kWh) consumed. You must ensure your local wallet has sufficient balance to complete your charging target. If your wallet balance drops below the minimum required during an active session, the session will be safely terminated.
